Has anyone here ever visited or lived in India in relatively tranquil areas like Goa, and can tell me if it's an area a European can live in without particular problems? All I need is a room, food and electricity/internet. I will bring with me equipment such as music keyboards and a computer. I have read there is a risk of theft in there but maybe it's in bigger cities only. As far as I know there are colonies of white people in India and I don't think you get stealed there.

All I want is tranquillity and being alone doing my work. Undangerous nature like beaches where to have walks or meet people, and cafes where to do the same are a plus. That's all I want in my life. To not be constantly harassed by the people with mafia attitude I get here in Sicily, and be left in tranquillity making my music in solitude.
