Chinese society on the whole is obsessed with money and greed in general. Their whole society revolves around money more so than other Asian societies. Also, they place a strong emphasis on losing and gaining face. Vietnam is also being pushed into that direction, so China and Vietnam are similar. The difference is that Vietnam is also a Southeast Asian country so there are more scammers and unscrupulous people in general.
In comparison, Korean society revolves around looks and physical beauty. Plastic surgery is rife and common place and there are not many natural Korean beauties. On top of that, their culture places a strong emphasis on 'bloodline purity' when it comes to marriage and having children.
I'm not so sure about what Japanese society revolves around these days because there isn't much of a clear picture about it.
I am still considering what kind of culture would be ideal.
